He identifies the bodies of those who have died trying to cross the Strait of Gibraltar, informs their relatives, and repatriates them to their home countries. By showing how Martin is affected by the daily tragedies in the mass grave that is the Mediterranean, this film denounces the inhumane conditions on Europe’s maritime borders.
